2:00 PM - Arenal Volcano Hike

Choose between the National Park (Las Coladas trail) or the Arenal 1968 trail. Both offer stunning views of the lava fields and the volcano cone.

4

4:30 PM - Sunset at Lake Arenal

Drive 10 minutes to the Arenal Dam. It's the best spot to watch the sun go down behind the mountains with the volcano reflecting on the lake water.

5

6:00 PM - Hot Springs Relaxation

The only way to end the day. Soak in the Hot Springs. Whether it's a luxury resort or the free river, the warm water will heal your hiking muscles.

🚗 Important Logistic Tip:

To do all this in 24 hours, you must have a rental car. Shuttles are too slow and taxis will be very expensive for 5 different stops. Check our Transport Guide.
